Cruz: Yesterday, you spent almost an hour with a piece of paper and markers lined up on the window sill. You asked us how to spell random words like elf, bears, and cucumber, and one at a time, you'd write the letters all on your own. It's been so amazing to watch your interests in spelling, writing, and drawing grow so rapidly in the last few weeks.
Mila: You are growing lots, too, little lady, and your words are morphing into cute little phrases that you love repeating often. Your newest is "this way" which is quite fitting for your bossy little personality. You tell me which way to go to get Cruz from his classroom, which path to take at the park, and which aisle to go in at the grocery store. And if we don't go your way, we are sure to get an earful!
