There was only one place to go on our very last night in Southern California. Well, actually two. First, back to Belmont Brewing Company for that strawberry blonde ale and ahi tuna salad, and then, to the beach for one last west coast sunset. One more night to walk barefoot in the sand, feel the salty air stick to our skin, and watch Cruz face the waves with his arms spread out as if he himself controlled the tides.
Our week in California had come to an end, but the stories and memories we made would surely live on for years to come. It was an unforgettable week away with my people and I have a feeling it won't be the last time we make our way to Sunny California. And maybe even Jan and Dale and their bird-watching binoculars. :)
