The Jorgensen Academy of Excellence is officially closing it's doors on Friday, excited to reopen them to welcome all things summer soon. And one of our favorite ways to usher in summertime is by creating our summer bucket list. Every year it changes and includes some of our favorite traditions and pastimes, with some new dreams of ways to spend our days as the kids get taller and the world around us changes. And with all the changes we've seen the past few months, this summer bucket list has been both challenging and wonderful to complete. Travel plans may be on hold for now, I'm not sure we'll be sitting at an outdoor concert for awhile, and at this point, I'm not even sure what our future pool life looks like, but this bucket list is our reminder that even though many things are out of our control, we can still find the joy in so much. This summer, I am most looking forward to simple summery things at home. Bike rides, picnic lunches on the back deck, new books to read, and gardens to tend. I'm excited for weekend road trips, new places to explore, movies to watch under the stars, and simple get togethers around the fire. I'm excited for steps toward normal as the sun shines bright and warms hearts and homes.
