Boone, our trusty Elf, showed up again the first weekend of December and surprised the kids with a North Pole breakfast to celebrate. Boone's been surprising the kids every December for several years and his wintery breakfast is one of our favorite ways to kick off this month of celebration. This year, he arrived with some of the same things the kids have grown to love: snow covered donuts, ice-chilled milk, and an individually wrapped gift of a special ornament for the tree and a Christmas movie to add to our collection. This year, Cruz and Mila opened a Mickey and Minnie ornament to help us remember our big Disney surprise, Cruz received Home Alone 2, and Mila got Beauty and the Beast Enchanted Christmas. It was a good morning and fun way to welcome December.
