It's not too often we can get family pictures outside in December! And, it's not too often we get family pictures where everyone is actually facing the camera. :)
No coats and everything!
The guys ran to Toppling Goliath, their favorite brewery, to bring home a growler, the girls stayed back and arranged presents, stuffed stockings, and set out food, and the kiddos watched a movie in their sleeping bags before growing bored and escaping to their favorite spot, where they stuck their faces through the stair railing and yelled at us from the catwalk.
We ate, drank, played games, opened presents, and laid around by the fire. It was perfect!
The kids weren't the only ones who loved this area of the cabin!
Presents took forever! We finally got to the adults' turn after we put the kids to bed, I think it was almost midnight!
