Cruz: Oh buddy, we had the best few days celebrating YOU. I just loved it all - Grandma and I surprising you for lunch at your school, getting a tour of all the fun spaces you get to learn, hearing that all your friends started singing Happy Birthday when you got to the playground that morning, and celebrating you with all things Harry Potter at your party on Saturday. So much more to come about your first few days as an EIGHT YEAR OLD!
Mila: You have been waiting for days to adopt your very own Hogwarts owl at Cruz's birthday party. But what's perhaps even sweeter is to think about you parading up and down Main Street as we speak with your second cousin, Lizzie and her friend, Carrie. These adventurous twenty-somethings are visiting on a cross-country trip and asked if they could break you out of preschool this morning! I can only imagine all that you are talking them into this afternoon!
