Cruz overcame a big milestone this spring and learned to do a somersault. Now, he rarely encounters a patch of green grass without showing off his tuck and roll. Despite the endless amount of grass stains that have accompanied this season, his somersaults are a sweet reminder of everything I love about childhood.
Or maybe just boyhood.
Turns out, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. After the kids showed Beau the hill they discovered walking through campus one afternoon, Beau decided it looked like a pretty good spot to roll down. Soon, all four of us were in a fit of giggles watching the two boys roll like snails down the hill before tumbling into each other. Grass stains for the big, grass stains for the little...and never a dull moment. :)
